If you've seen a Facebook friend typing her status in what appears to be cursive letters, it might stump you because you cannot change Facebook's font. However, there is a trick to make it look like you are typing in cursive. This method involves using the "Character Map" from your operating system.
Step 1
Click "Start" then choose "Accessories" from "All Programs." Click "System Tools" then "Character Map."

Step 2
Choose "Arial" from the "Font" drop-down menu. Scroll down until you find characters that resemble cursive letters. Most "cursive" letters will be under the "Latin" and "Cyrillic" sections. There may not be a cursive-letter correspondent for each letter.
Step 3
Create the phrase you want to show on Facebook using the Character Map. Click "Copy" beside the text you generated.
Step 4
Open Facebook and right-click your mouse to "Paste" the letters to your Facebook. The letters will appear as cursive.
