Lotus Word Pro is an obsolete word processing program for Windows and DOS systems. The program is the successor to Lotus Ami Pro. Lotus Word Pro's file extension is ".lwp" and cannot directly be opened with Microsoft Word. But, you can convert Lotus Word Pro files by using a third-party converter available on the Lotus website. The converter is free to download and use. Once converted, you simply copy and paste the Word Pro text into Microsoft Word.
